Welcome Back Colts! We are so excited for a wonderful school year. Thank you to everyone who has already donated to our Y.E.S Fund, our biggest fundraiser of the year! Please see information below about our Y.E.S Fund Challenge happening this month. We hope to see everyone at our first PFA Meeting of the year on September 12 at 6 pm in the RM MPR.
We have so many fun events this month, including Movie Night and our first Parents’ Night Out! Our theme this year is Colts Shine—focusing on all the ways we can make our kiddos and school shine through kindness, consideration and caring. Together we can help our Colts Shine!
Principal's Message
Round Meadow Colts-
Happy September! It feels great to be back and into the swing of things. I hope your children are getting used to their school routines and morning goodbyes are getting easier. We have a lot of fun things planned for the month of September and I hope you can be a part of them. This Friday we will have our first movie night of the year - bring your lawn chairs or blankets and be entertained by The Super Mario Brothers movie. We have a General PFA meeting next week, 9/12 at 6 p.m. Come, join in the conversation, and have dinner too! Galloping Colts will be returning this month and I hope you’ll join your children as they run around the backfield to earn toe tokens. And we end the month with a Book Fair and I cannot wait to see the MPR transform into a magical place where reading soars. Some general reminders - if you would like to enter campus, you will need to check in at the Main Office. We have some parents who are parking on the backfield and walking their children in. We need to make sure we are keeping Round Meadow safe and in order to do that, we all need to make sure we are following the rules.
October will be here before we know it! Here’s to a fabulous September!

Hispanic Heritage Month is celebrated from September 15th to October 15th. Unlike other celebrations that start on the first of the month, Hispanic Heritage Month starts on September 15th because it coincides with the
independence days of several Latin American countries on the 15th, followed by Mexico on the 16th, Chile on the 18th, and Belize on the 22st. This month showcases the second fastest growing racial or ethnic
group in the U.S.; 57 million people in the U.S. are of Hispanic heritage - 18% of the population. Hispanics are considered a multi-racial ethnic group, as the term represents people from 20 different countries. All
children need opportunities to celebrate and explore various cultures, especially when that culture is their very own. RMPFA would love to help you showcase your culture and Hispanic history. Reach out to DEI@rmpfa.org to join us! Hispanic Heritage Month is an amazing time to begin exploring the diversity of Hispanic cultures and help teach our children about the
significant presence and influence of Hispanics in our society. Visit these resources for more ideas on talking with and celebrating this amazing month with your families!
Join the RMPFA for our first DEI Committee Meeting on 9/28 at 6:30 PM on Zoom.
